At 2200 watts it is less powerful than Coleman's single cartridge-top propane burner, the PerfectFlow single burner (3150 watts) but is much more stable.It is difficult to understand why they have downrated the hob on this single burner compared to the burner mentioned above and the Perfectflow two burner stove from 3200 watts given that1) It has no windshield unlike the twin Perfectflow burner and so will lose more heat; and2) It is specifically made for larger pots than the Perfectflow single burner which has a 3150 watt output.The output is comparable to a Campingaz Camping Chef or Lagon twin burner stove, but both of these have windshields.It's certainly better than having to carry around a steel refillable butane cylinder with your stove, but obviously much more expensive to run. An alternative single burner to consider is the Camping Gaz Bistro stove with piezo ignition, cheaper purchase price, and cheaper and more easily available gas.You do need a windshield to avoid wasting gas and suffering power reduction.

excellent cooker needed a lightweight propane cooker for outdoor use on my boat in the colder weather fits the bill perfectly.

Had been using one of those Campingaz single stoves before but it was always a bit unsteady, especially with a larger pan on top, and could be a bit slow to cook. This Coleman stove is a brilliant replacement. It's much more stable and cooks so much more quickly. Although it is bigger to pack, with the amount of stuff we take with us camping, it really doesn't make much difference to the pressure on our car suspension! It's pretty lightweight in any event and we have been able to fit it with its box inside a record bag so it's easy to transport. What's really great is that the gas bottle can be pretty easily disconnected and then reconnected and the bottle can also be used for a camping heater which we also bought recently so one bottle can go between both and then be taken off completely. Would definitely recommend. I reckon we could cook a whole meal on it if necessary at home should we be plagued by a power cut some time - the advantage of being campers is that we're always ready for such things with cooking, tea making, heating and lighting equipment!!!
